Vintage enamel on copper dish by California artist Ed Edwards (Edwards Star Original) for Gumps.

From his studio in the Industrial Center Building in Sausalito, mid-century artist Ed Edwards produced distinctive enamel works under the name Edwards Star Originals. Sold through Gumps in San Francisco and Georg Jensen, five of Edwards works were also included in the 1959 exhibit "Enamels" at the Museum of Contemporary Crafts in New York City. Enamel on Copper dishes were very popular in the 1960s. This one is by artist Edwardo Star and was originally sold through Gump’s, San Francisco.
