Antique Victorian Converted Electric Brass and Glass Shade Parlor Lamp
This Victorian Antique Parlor lamp is very pretty with the hand-painted “student-style” glass shade and the amber glass drops (there are four missing). It may be an old Bradley and Hubbard oil lamp and it was then converted to an electric lamp (cord is good and works well). The original lamp dates between 1900 and 1920 and is in very good condition (a metal ding shown in the picture). The embossed, hand-painted shade has pictures of putti all around along with beautiful scrolls. And the detailed faceted brass body and stand are really lovely. The lamp measures 23” to the top of the glass chimney and it is 14” in diameter at the shade. The base is 8” square.
This is a beautiful find!
