6 pockets on outside of bag for bottles or keys/toys etc.
Plenty of space inside bag with extra pockets and a zip close pocket
Diaper changing mat has never been used as I purchased this bag to use for work and hold documents/laptop. Slight discoloration noted on mat due to the material and age, but no rips, snags, smells etc.
