Military Colonel Zippo Lighter

Vintage U.S. military Zippo used empty lighter with raised brass U.S. Army colonel war eagle insignia on front and inscribed name, Col. R.S. Wilson, on front and back. The back side appears to have had an adornment that is no longer there. The manufacturer code on the bottom has a Pat. 2032695, dating it between 1937-50. A Col. R.S. Wilson served in WW2 and was appointed a liaison to the Manhattan Project, but there is no proof that this lighter belonged to him. It is from an estate collection.
