This is a super rare and unique antique coin purse that is sure to match your exquisite style. This gorgeous and historic item features:

* body of the purse is made with a fine mesh chainmail that has been expertly painted
* the design on the chainmail is up to your imagination, but I definitely see a skull
* I have NEVER found this extremely rare design in all of my days of antiquing
* bottom of the purse has triangular edges with chainmail fringe (so neat!)
* gold tone metal upper hardware with a distinctive art nouveau look with geometric shapes
* top center has a snap closure
* inner lining is made with gold satiny fabric
* there is one main compartment and one small pocket
* snake chain strap length is 16 inches
* research has led me to believe this item is from the 1910 to 1930''s era
