Vintage Chinese Mudman with Fish, 12

Antique Chinese Mudman Pottery, stamped "CHL China" on the base which dates it to the late 1800s / early 1900s (1890-1919). Very heavy, he stands a little over 12 inches tall. He is holding a carp fish. The brightly colored majolica glaze is still in excellent condition, as you can see on his robe in yellow, blue and green. Stunning details in his face, beard, hair and hands. There is one chip on the base in the back (see photos), but otherwise he is in excellent condition for his age.
