This unique set of three decorative Christian-themed eggs also doubles as beautiful Christmas ornaments, thanks to the wire loops on top. Lovingly crafted with traditional techniques and materials, the set is an object of cultural significance and a one-of-a-kind testament to Russian artistry. The lacquered finish gives it a beautiful shine, and the signature of the artist Tsypin adds authenticity to its origin.

Each 3" egg (inc. loop) features a Biblical scene - Annunciation, Nativity, and the Archangel Michael - on one side and a gold cross on the other, painted in great detail in the famous Russian Orthodox style. They''ve been displayed in my own home since their creation in the mid-1980s, when Russia was still known as the USSR. The wear is minimal, limited to a few small scratches and light scuff marks on the bottom from contact with other surfaces (see photos). This stunning set is a must-have for any collector of folk art or religious artifacts.
