Hot Wheels released 2 train sets in the history of Hot Wheels, one was in 1990 and the other was in 1989. This is the 1989 version.
This set is unopened with (most) the Mattel seals still intact. A VERY HARD TO FIND item! Some of the seals have lifted with age some are taped over. I am not the first owner but, I received it years ago unopened and I know I have not opened it. Although at times I really wanted to!
The set includes the following (!!!):
- Four Train Cars that attach and run on 2 “C” Batteries (not included) All Authentic Hot Wheels made of Die-Cast & Plastic parts. Locomotive is red with working headlights, Vehicle Carrier Car is gray and will hold up to 4 - 1:64 Scale Hot Wheels - A Yellow Flat-Bed Train Car with a manual cargo release to unload cargo, and an all Black passenger car complete with the Hot Wheels logo and styling flames! Also includes a single 1:64 Hot Wheels car.
Over 16 ft of track in a figure 8 layout!
