Rare HTF Kirsten “A Pioneer Girl of Strength and Spirit” one of original dolls from Pleasant Company American Girl. I bought this doll for my daughter in 1988. I know for sure her age. Since it took at least a year to produce I am certain she is an original Kirsten. She is in good shape and very beautiful considering her vintage age. I’m not a collector per se so I have done nothing to restore her other than rebraid her hair and put in new ties & ribbons. She can stand on her own. The flaw I have taken pics of is just a smudge on her right arm. Her hair is lovely and not cut. Her eyelashes are full and soft. Her eyes function properly. I do see something teeny tiny happening in her left pupil. Her skin tone is beautiful and has no scratches or marks except the smudge mentioned. Her white body has its flat string and her neck has original markings. Her clothes are original and the only flaw I see is the Velcro on the dress is slightly pulled away.
